HTML to a picture
HTML to Image loads your document in headless Chromium and takes a full-page screenshot at 2× scale. Choose PNG for crisp UI chrome and transparency-friendly graphics, or JPG for smaller photographic layouts.
This is not HTML to PDF. PDFs keep selectable text; images do not. Scripts never run in preview or render.
Assets
Remote images and fonts must be public HTTPS (or listed in EDM_ASSET_HOSTS). Private network and metadata hosts are blocked. If an image is missing in the export, check the host allow rules.
Limits
HTML ≤ 1 MB. Rendered height must stay within safe bounds. Outputs larger than about 4 MB cannot be returned as a direct download — reduce width, height, or switch to JPG.
